Manchester United looked to extend their seven-game winning streak when they hosted Watford at the Theatre of Dreams on Saturday evening. It was a match the Red Devils needed to win to secure their place in the top four after Arsenal's late victory against wolves two days ago.

Rangnick's time as Manager has done little good to the predicament of The Old Trafford Men as they have found themselves backpedalling in poor form whilst the top four slip from their hands.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo's frustration and disappointment were evident as he missed a handful of opportunities to put Man United upfront. Theatre strike artillery was lacking sharpness, clinical, and effectiveness in front of the Watford goal today.

United came to garner maximum points. A win would have taken strengthened their place in the top four, but the display they put forth paid nothing more than a draw even after dominating the game.

With Liverpool closing on in the Title race, Manchester City had a must-win game at Goodison Park with Frank Lampard's Everton. Guardiola's men are just three points behind Liverpool who now have a game in hand, after their match with Arsenal got postponed due to the EFL final against Chelsea tomorrow.

A win against Everton would take them six points clear and could be a decisive point in the turn of things as the season gets to its end. Lampard's men put up a tough resistance but fell to Phil Foden's brilliance in the 82nd minute. Everton had a chance to equalize after calls for a penalty for a perceived handball by Rodri, but the VAR wasn't on their side today.

The match ended in favour of the reigning Champions. A 1-0 victory to ease little pressure from their tough rivals in Anfield.
