Paulo Dybala offered himself to Barcelona after it was clear that Juventus weren't going to renew his contract, according to Diario Sport.

However, the offer was immediately turned down by Jordi Cryuff and Xavi.

Dybala's style was considered unfit for Barca. Plus his salary demands were considered too high for a club still struggling to balance the books financially.

The 28-year-old is now set to sign for Inter Milan as a free agent later this summer.

Last season, Dybala scored 15 goals and claimed six assists for Juventus but the Bianconeri let him go for refusing to lower his wages.
